Oldenburger Rohrleitungsforum 2015

On 19th and 20th February the „Oldenburger Rohrleitungsforum“ (Oldenburg Pipe Forum) was once again held in the Jade University of Oldenburg.

(blechnews) - With more than 330 exhibitors, the Forum is one of the most important venues for the exchange of information in the pipe industry. With this year’s motto “Pipes for heat and energy transport”, and for 29 years now, the Oldenburg Pipe Forumhas gathered experts in this sector and those interested in order to exchange and discuss recent developments and findings.

As a regular guest, the company ELMED Dr. Ing. Mense once again exhibited the whole range of their ISOTEST holiday detectors for the pipeline construction sector and offered useful information about new possibilities for the safe testing of pipe coatings with high voltage.

Beside a varied program with versatile lectures and discussion groups, the traditional „Ollnburger Gröönkohlabend“ (a sociable get-together where a traditional Northern Germany dish made of curly kale with small sausage is served) rounded off the first day of the event.
Also this year ELMED donated a voucher for the traditional tombola for a mystery dinner for two persons. Mr. Ralf Otte, Otte Fahrzeugeinrichtungen in Dötlingen, was the lucky winner to whom the director of the company, Mrs. Claudia Mense, handed over the voucher for the 4 course interactive dinner show.
